Week #7: February 18th - February 21st

It was a very nice 4-day weekend, but now we are back for our projects and second Unit. We started the week with a round-robin presentation tourney and then final presentations to the class. Even though this is for an assessment grade, one of the most important aspects is the feedback portion to improve your efforts even more. After presentation and project debriefing, we talked about sustainability and suburban growth.

Week #7 Vocabulary:
Perspective: a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view.
Smart Growth: an urban planning and transportation theory that concentrates growth in compact walkable urban centers to avoid sprawl.
Suburban Sprawl: a multifaceted concept centered on the expansion of auto-oriented, low-density development.
Zoning: a device of land-use planning used by local governments in most developed countries.
Municipal Waste: commonly known as trash or garbage is a waste type consisting of everyday items that are discarded by the public.
